Information we collect
RentaDiary collects account and profile details, rental-unit and tenant records, billing and payment records, meter readings, maintenance requests, concerns, uploaded photos or documents, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How information is used
We use this information to provide property-management features, authenticate users, deliver account and verification emails, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Tenant information
Property owners are responsible for having an appropriate basis to enter tenant information. RentaDiary processes that information to provide the requested rental-management service. Tenant portal users can access information associated with their own tenant account.
Service providers
We use hosting and database providers to run RentaDiary and Brevo to deliver transactional emails such as verification and password-reset messages. These providers process only the information needed to perform their services for us.
Storage, security, and retention
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and connections to production services use encryption in transit. We retain information while an account is active and as needed for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and account deletion
You can update profile information in RentaDiary. Owners can permanently delete their account from the mobile app under More, Profile & account, Delete Account. You may also review our account deletion page.
Children
RentaDiary is a business and property-management service and is not directed to children under 13.
